Join us on a journey through the isolated and historic region of Khevsureti in the Georgian highlands. Divided into three parts, our tour will take us to the famous villages of Shatili and Mutso, known for their stunning mountain views, medieval towers, and sacred mystical legends.
Experience the beauty of unspoiled nature and step back in time to the middle ages as we visit these unique and fascinating places. The fortress village of Mutso, perched on a rock and surrounded by towers, is difficult to access and has largely been abandoned in recent years, preserving its original architecture and open-air burial vaults.
On the second day of the tour, we will visit Shatili, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a medieval fortress village located at an elevation of 1400 meters. There is no road access to Shatili in the winter, making it a truly authentic destination for tourists. The complex consists of 60 towers and served as both a place of residence and a fortress protecting Georgia's northeastern borders.
Embrace the peaceful and inspiring atmosphere of these ancient villages by spending the night at one of the fortresses. Remember, you may not have access to mobile communications or Wi-Fi during this tour, but isn't the chance to disconnect and find silence what you've been seeking?
