Join us on a one-day private tour of the sunniest regions of Georgia, departing from Tbilisi. Our first stop is the village of Badiauri, where you can learn how to bake traditional Georgian bread and try some delicious local cheese.
Next, we'll visit the Bodbe Monastery, one of the most important religious sites in Georgia. Here, you can see the St. George Cathedral and the remains of St. Nino, as well as the nunnery that now occupies the former monastery. We'll also visit the new cathedral, which was built using traditional construction methods.
Then, it's on to the charming town of Sighnaghi, known as the "town of love." Here, you'll hear the legend of the city as you walk along the cobbled streets and visit the city walls and towers. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the local market and try some Georgian spices, sweets, and sauces.
Finally, we'll visit a wine factory in the Kakheti region, Georgia's premier wine-producing area. You'll have the chance to taste a variety of Georgian wines and learn about the secrets of wine-making. Along the way, you'll be invited to drink a glass of traditional amber wine and take in the stunning views of the Alazani valley and the Greater Caucasus mountains. This tour is suitable for all ages and is a great way to learn about the history, culture, and traditions of Georgia while enjoying some of the best that the Kakheti region has to offer.
