Discover the rich history and culture of
Tbilisi and Mtskheta on our one-day tour. We'll start by visiting Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, where you'll see the UNESCO World Heritage Site of
Jvari Church. This 6th-century church is perched on a hilltop overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
After the Jvari, we'll visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of
Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta. This 11th-century cathedral is the burial site of Christ's mantle and one of the most important religious and cultural landmarks in the country.
Next, we'll head to
Old Tbilisi for a walking tour of the city's old town. You'll explore Rike Park, and the Bridge of Peace, and take the Aerial Tramway for panoramic views of the city. We'll also visit the Mother of Georgia statue, Narikala Fortress, Tbilisi Sulphur Waterfall, Abanotubani, Meidan Bazaar, Shardeni Street, Anchiskhati Basilica, Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater, Freedom Square, Baratashvili Bridge, and Tsminda Sameba Cathedral.
